I live in Australia and want to know about tie inverters are they just plug & play and do they really make your meter go slower if so where in Australia and i buy one
If you just plugged in an inverter, it would make your meter run faster, not slower. There would be a small but noticeable sine wave induction current across the secondary, inducing a tiny current across the primary and dissipating as heat. It would basically be an itty-bitty space heater that wouldn’t keep you warm and spun up your meter.
